I want to witness your immeasurable greatness, power and strength in my life today and always. Since your ‘heart tunes’ are my song of joy and hope (Psalms 59:16), I’m asking for you to always be my refuge and fortress until my last breath on earth!
You strengthened me so I could embrace those overwhelming circumstances, you gave me the wisdom to explore alternate arrangements, and the discernment to navigate thru the decision-making process.
Lord, I know you are managing all of my affairs relentlessly and faithfully. I truly appreciate how you are orchestrating all life events on my behalf.
Jesus was sent to the world to create in mankind a hunger for the everlasting food of the Spirit!
What is the big lesson of death? Time is our most precious commodity. The wisdom of this truth, if applied, is that we should make the most of our time because our days are numbered (Psalm 139:16; Ephesians 5:15-16).
When I reflect on His promises, pray over Scriptures, write down my most intimate prayers, and acknowledge His blessings, His love overwhelms my heart and His Word refreshes my soul.
Of course, we would desire to have the kind of faith Deut. 31:8 makes reference to. So, why is it we succumb so easily to the fiery dart that this kind of faith is impossible for us? Why is it we believe Satan’s lies before we believe God’s Truths?
Many of my friends, fellow Christians, are refusing to even entertain the idea that they should still be expected to actively serve God in their “twilight” years. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t recall reading about retirement in scripture.
The Lord orchestrates all our circumstances to work together for our welfare. His plan always prevails regardless of our struggles, character deficiencies or self-doubt.
The mystery revealed herein is this: The supplied need is the goal of our prayer, but glory to God is the goal of the Holy Spirit. When our goal comes into agreement with God’s, then we become a partner in His will.
